Clayton is a community lying at the foothills of Mt Diablo, east of Concord, in the San Francisco East Bay. Incorporated in 1964, Clayton’s city limits consist of only ½ square mile. This community prides itself in its deep appreciation for the community’s history, tradition and volunteerism. It is a safe residential community with about 11K people.
